DPS Wiśnicze
W maleńkiej wiosce Wiśnicze, około 35 km na północ od Gliwic, w otoczeniu zabudowań rolniczych oraz pól uprawnych, na bardzo dużym terenie, na którym znajdują się liczne zabudowania, a także tereny spacerowe z ławeczkami i altankami, położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej, przeznaczony dla 80 osób w podeszłym wieku wymagających całodobowej opieki – zarówno dla kobiet, jak i mężczyzn. Placówka prowadzona jest przez Caritas Diecezji Gliwickiej na zlecenie Powiatu Gliwickiego. Dom mieści się w nowoczesnym budynku, przystosowanym dla osób niepełnosprawnych – w tym poruszających się na wózku inwalidzkim. Baza mieszkaniowa to przytulne pokoje jedno oraz dwuosobowe, które zapewniają komfortowe warunki życia. Ponadto do dyspozycji pozostają: pomieszczenia wspólne, zaplecze rehabilitacyjne oraz terapeutyczne, kuchnia z jadalnią, małe kuchenki pomocnicze, biblioteka, kafejka internetowa oraz kaplica.
DPS zapewnia całodobową opiekę, pomoc medyczną, zajęcia rehabilitacyjne oraz terapeutyczne, w tym m. in.: arteterapia, biblioterapia, muzykoterapia, terapia przyłóżkowa. W Domu prowadzone są także, uwielbiane przez mieszkańców, warsztaty małych form scenicznych „Drama” oraz integracyjny zespół wokalny „Schola”. Czas wolny wypełniają imprezy okolicznościowe, spotkania katechetyczne, seanse filmowe, spotkania kulinarne oraz literackie, a także wyjścia oraz wyjazdy.
