Dom Pomocy Społecznej Kombatant znajduje się w Ciechanowie w miłym otoczonym zielenią miejscu z alejkami spacerowymi, ławkami, drzewami i kwiatami. DPS Kombatant przeznaczony jest dla osób w podeszłym wieku – 90 miejsc mieszkalnych oraz dla 15 osób przewlekle chorych.
Zaplecze DPS Kombatant to oprócz bazy noclegowej także baza rehabilitacyjna, stołówka z własną kuchnią, sale terapii zajęciowej, biblioteka, studio TV, sala kominkowa, sklepik, solankowy basen rehabilitacyjny, kuchnie dla mieszkańców na każdym piętrze, jak również pralnia, suszalnia, szwalnia, kaplica, kawiarenka.
Bazę noclegową stanowi 75 mieszkań jednoosobowych i 10 mieszkań dwupokojowych. W pokojach znajdują się niezbędne meble, łazienki z prysznicem lub wanną, telefony. Każdy mieszkaniec ma prawo posiadać w pokoju własne dodatkowe sprzęty takie jak np. telewizor, czy lodówka.
Posiłki, które uwzględniają także specyficzne diety, podawane są przez obsługę na stołówce trzy razy dziennie.
