W cichej i spokojnej części Zamościa, pośród zatopionej w licznej zieleni zabudowie jednorodzinnej, w niedalekiej odległości od centrum miasta i tym samym od licznych punktów handlowych i usługowych, położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej, przeznaczony dla 52 wychowanek niesprawnych intelektualnie w stopniu znacznym i głębokim. Baza mieszkaniowa to 8 pokoi 2 osobowych, 5 pokoi 3 osobowych oraz dwie sale 4 osobowe przeznaczone dla osób leżących. Pokoje nie posiadają węzłów sanitarnych, dlatego do dyspozycji Mieszkanek przygotowano 4 łazienki wspólne. Dom posiada udogodnienia dla osób niepełnosprawnych (podjazd, winda). W najbliższym otoczeniu Placówki znajduje się uroczy ogród, który umożliwia mieszkankom spędzać mile wolny czas, przy jednoczesnym zdobywaniu licznych umiejętności podczas jego pielęgnacji i rozwoju. Ponadto obok ogrodu znajdują się alejki parkowe, z ławkami oraz huśtawkami, idealne miejsce do spotkań i błogiego wypoczynku. Do dyspozycji mieszkanek przeznaczono również: wannę do zabiegów (hydro masaż), salę rehabilitacji, pomieszczenia do terapii zajęciowej.
