DPS Dobiegniew
W północno – zachodniej części województwa lubuskiego, w powiecie Strzelecko – Drezdeneckim, ok. 50 km od Gorzowa Wielkopolskiego i 70 km od Piły, w urokliwym miasteczku Dobiegniew, niemal nad samym jeziorem Wielgie, w pięknych okolicznościach przyrody, położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej, przeznaczony dla 51 osób w podeszłym wieku oraz przewlekle somatycznie chorych – zarówno kobiet, jak i mężczyzn. Placówka znajduje się na dużej działce, pełnej zieleni, wiekowych drzew, posiada dojście do plaży nad jeziorem. Zabudowania Domu to wolnostojący budynek mieszkalny oraz 5 domków parterowych. Mieszkańcy zakwaterowani są w pokojach dwu i trzy – osobowych, zaś w domkach znajdują się trzy pokoje dwuosobowe, łazienka, toaleta oraz aneks kuchenny. Wszystkie obiekty należące do „domu” oraz trasy komunikacyjne pozbawione są barier architektonicznych. Ponadto mieszkańcy mają do dyspozycji liczne pomieszczenia wspólne, w tym zaplecze rehabilitacyjne oraz terapeutyczne. Warto dodać, że mieszkańcy mają możliwość bliskiego kontaktu z naturą, a w placówce panuje rodzinna atmosfera ciepła i przytulności.
DPS zapewnia całodobową opiekę, pomoc medyczną, zajęcia rehabilitacyjne oraz terepeutyczne. Czas wolny przeznaczony jest na liczne spacery po okolicy, spotkania towarzyskie, imprezy okolicznościowe, a także udział w wydarzeniach kulturalnych, integracyjnych oraz rekreacyjnych.
