Dzienne domy opieki medycznej dla niesamodzielnych
Zgodnie z informacjami Ministerstwa Zdrowia do dnia upłynięcia terminu składania wniosków, tj. 30 października 2015, w konkursie na tworzenie i prowadzenie dziennych domów opieki medycznej dla osób niesamodzielnych, wpłynęło 148 wniosków. Zgodnie z planami resortu na cel tworzenia tego typu domów przeznaczono 40 mln złotych, które sfinansują powstanie 40 placówek.
Dla przypomnienia, dzienne domy opieki medycznej zapewnią specjalistyczną pomoc medyczną, rehabilitacyjną oraz terapeutyczną w ciągu dnia, mają za cel stworzyć warunki zbliżone do domowych, odwiedzający je otrzymają konieczne wsparcie ułatwiające wsparcie oraz powrót do sprawności fizycznej oraz zdolności do funkcjonowania w środowisku. W odróżnieniu od domów pobytu tworzonych w ramach programu „Senior-Wigor”, dzienne domy opieki medycznej mogą być tworzone przez placówki medyczne.
