Na obrzeżach malowniczego Magurskiego Parku Narodowego, w niewielkiej śródgórskiej kotlinie potoku Kłopotnicy w północnym masywie Magury Wątkowskiej, na wysokości 380 – 400 m n.p.m., w obrębie wsi Folusz oddalonej w kierunku południowym od miasta powiatowego Jasła o 20 km, wśród połaci lasów liściastych i iglastych, położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej, przeznaczony dla 244 osób przewlekle psychicznie chorych. Do dyspozycji mieszkańców Dom przygotował pokoje dziennego pobytu, gabinety zabiegowe, gabinety usprawniania leczniczego, pracownie terapii zajęciowej, świetlice z tarasem, kuchenki terapeutyczne, kaplicę, boisko do siatkówki, atlas do ćwiczeń, własny teren rekreacyjny z altanką, a wszystko w otoczeniu wspaniałej przyrody Magurskiego Parku Narodowego. Baza mieszkaniowa to eleganckie pokoje 1, 2 i 3 osobowe. Pokoje jednoosobowe posiadają samodzielne węzły sanitarne.
Placówka zapewnia całodobową opiekę, pomoc medyczną, zajęcia rehabilitacyjne oraz terapeutyczne. Oferowana jest niezwykle szeroka gama zajęć w czasie wolnym, m. in. piesze wycieczki po okolicy, udział w wydarzeniach związanych z działalnością lokalnych instytucji, udział w zawodach sportowych, liczne wyjazdy, organizowane są imprezy okolicznościowe, a także spotkania tematyczne na terenie Domu.
