Placówka zapewnia całodobową pomoc w zakresie pielęgnacji i opieki medycznej. W ramach codziennej rehabilitacji oferowany jest szereg zajęć, które mają za zadanie całościowo wpływać na prawidłowy rozwój, oferowane są m. in. terapie psychologiczne i sensoryczne, terapie mowy, fizykoterapia, hydroterapia (na basenie), zajęcia sportowe na siłowni i boisku, hipoterapia, a także terapia zajęciowa (pracownia plastyczno-techniczna, wyrobu świec, kulinarna). Niezwykle cennym kierunkiem działań Domu jest aktywizacja zawodowa jego mieszkańców, pomoc w znalezieniu pracy, ukształtowanie potrzeby pracy, a co najważniejsze zorganizowanie miejsc pracy, kilku na terenie placówki oraz kilkunastu na terenie farmy rolnej, którą prowadzi DPS, tzw. „Tęczowa farma”, niepełnosprawni pracownicy zarządzają procesem wzrostu, zbioru oraz przekształcenia wierzby energetycznej na biomasę, ponadto z pieczołowitością dbają o stan okolicznej, przydrożnej zieleni.
