Dom Pomocy Społecznej w Radzyminie

Dom Pomocy Społecznej w Radzyminie niesie pomoc osobom niepełnosprawnym, przewlekle somatycznie chorym. DPS znajduje się blisko centrum Radzymina w odległości około 20 km od Warszawy na obszarze około 1,6 ha. Teren wokół DPS otoczony jest pięknym ogrodem z wytyczonymi alejkami spacerowymi i ławkami oraz stawem pełnym ryb i kaczek.
Dom Pomocy Społecznej w Radzyminie posiada 112 miejsc dla pacjentów zarówno kobiet jak i mężczyzn przewlekle somatycznie chorych. DPS przystosowany jest dla potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Znajdują się w nim podjazdy, windy, poręcze ułatwiające poruszanie. DPS dysponuje pokojami 1 – 3 osobowymi, z których większość jest z łazienkami, w pokojach znajduje się system przyzywowy. POnadto DPS w Radzyminie dysponuje świetlicami, salą rehabilitacyjną, salą terapii zajęciowej, salami zabiegowymi, salą fizykoterapii.
W ramach usług bytowo opiekuńczych DPS zapewnia mieszkańcom oprócz noclegu i całodowbowej opieki także pełne wyżywienie w postaci trzech posiłków dziennie z mozliwością doboru diety, pranie, toaletę, kąpiel, pomoc w przesiadaniu na wózek i wszystkie inne czynności związane z niesprawnością mieszkańców, opiekę medyczną, którą świadczą internista, psycholog, pielęgniarki. DPS oferuje również możliwość uczestniczenia w zajęciach rehabilitacyjnych, terapeutycznych, mszach świętych, wycieczkach, imprezach kulturalnych.
W ramach terapii zajęciowej mieszkańcy domu mogą uczestniczyć w zajęciach, które obejmują szeroki wachlarz różnorodnych form aktywności od zajęć plastycznych przez zajęcia w ogrodzie, muzykoterapię, biblioterapię, różne prace manualne jak na przykład hafciarstwo, aż po uczestniczenie w grach i zabawach na świeżym powietrzu. Wspomnieć jeszcze należy o możliwości wspólnego oglądania filmów, a także o zajęciach na sali komputerowej.
