Dom Pomocy Społecznej w Brańszczyku
Nieopodal meandrów pięknego Bugu, na Nizinie Mazowieckiej (60 km od Warszawy, 8 km od Wyszkowa), na skraju gęstych lasów Puszczy Białej, w Brańszczyku, położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej przeznaczony dla 194 osób, kobiet i mężczyzn przewlekle somatycznie chorych i niepełnosprawnych intelektualnie. Budynek Domu usytuowany jest w pobliżu dawnego dworku, w centralnej części wspaniałego, zabytkowego XIX-wiecznego parku. Do posesji Domu przylegają urokliwe stawy. Podsumowując powyższe, DPS Brańszczyk stanowi doskonałe miejsce do pełnego czerpania z uroków życia, do wypoczynku i regeneracji sił dla osób starszych i niepełnosprawnych.
Baza mieszkaniowa składa się z pokojów 1, 2 i 3 osobowych, elegancko umeblowanych, spełniających domowe standardy życia 🙂 Budynek DPS posiada pełne udogodnienia dla osób niepełnosprawnych, w tym dla poruszających się na wózkach inwalidzkich. Oprócz pokoi mieszkalnych mieszkańcy mają do dyspozycji szereg innych pomieszczeń, do głównych należą: kaplica, czytelnia, świetlica, pokoje dziennego pobytu, kawiarnia, sale zajęć terapeutycznych, sala rehabilitacji, jadalnia, salon fryzjerski.
W zakresie podstawowych zadań, które wypełnia DPS to codzienna opieka i pielęgnacja, pomoc medyczna, rehabilitacja ruchowa oraz zajęcia terapeutyczne, codzienne wyżywienie oraz wypełnianie czasu wolnego atrakcyjnymi formami zajęć. Wszystko ma na celu urozmaicenie codziennego życia, dbanie o zdrowie fizyczne oraz psychiczne a co najważniejsze, gwarantuje wszystkim podopiecznym godny byt.
