Urokliwe Kociewie zaprasza do Domu Pomocy Społecznej w Szpęgawsku, miejscowości leżącej pośród czystych jezior i dorodnych lasów pomorza :] Szpęgawsk położony jest na trasie Starogard Gd. – Tczew, która umożliwia dogodną komunikację z ważnymi ośrodkami całego województwa. Dom przeznaczony jest dla osób przewlekle psychicznie chorych, dla kobiet oraz mężczyzn, przygotowano 216 miejsc w eleganckich 1, 2, 3 i 4 osobowych pokojach mieszkalnych, część miejsc przeznaczona jest dla osób leżących.
Wszyscy mieszkańcy mają zapewnioną codzienną pomoc w zakresie pielęgnacji, opieki medycznej, ponadto oferowana jest szeroka gama zajęć terapeutycznych (tj. arteterapia, muzykoterapia, biblioterapia, terapia behawioralna, zajęcia w Sali Doświadczania Świata itp.). Czas wolny to odprężające spacery po ogrodzie, imprezy kulturalne oraz okolicznościowe, wyjazdy bliższe lub dalsze, np na połowy wędkarskie, grzybobrania, zwiedzanie okolicznych miast.. Bogate wypełnienie każdego dnia zapewnia mieszkańcom optymalną aktywizację społeczną oraz znakomitą motywację do zmagania z typowymi dla tego typu niepełnosprawności problemami.
