Dom Pomocy Społecznej w Gostkowie położony jest w obrębie gminy Wartkowice w województwie łódzkim. W DPS może przebywać maksymalnie 106 osób zakwalifikowanych do grupy przewlekle psychicznie chorych. W trzech budynkach mieszkalnych znajdują się pokoje 1 – 3 osobowe z łazienkami przystosowanymi dla niepeółnosprawnych. Dom dysponuje niezbędną infrastrukturą, by zapewnić pensjonariuszom odpowiednie warunki bytowe. Na terenie DPS znajdują się między innymi jadalnia, pokoje dziennego pobytu, pokój gościnny, palarnia, kaplica, sale do terapii i rehabilitacji. Wszyscy mieszkańcy mają zapewnioną pełną opiekę medyczną i pielęgniarską, religijną oraz zajęcia rehabilitacyjne.
Ośrodek w ramach terapii oferuje podopiecznym korzystanie z następujących zajęć: arteterapia, muzykoterapia, silwoterapia, ludoterapia oraz kulinoterapia. W ośrodku działa także zespół muzyczny Gostkowianie uczestniczący w różnych festiwalach.
